専門分野
理論言語学（認知言語学も含めた）、意味論、実用論、ドイツ語学：理論的、形式的であることと認知的であることは矛盾しないというスタンスで、意味論を研究している。言語の静態と動態は分けて考えられないという立場に立つと、意味論には実用論（語用論）も当然のこととして含まれる。並行して、言語と言語使用の区別も理論の上で多少は疑問視したいなどと欲張りなことも考えている。重点的な研究領域としては、談話構成、情報構造、アスペクト・テンス・モダリティー（ATM）、語彙意味論が挙げられる。言語に理論的にアプローチしようとする時、ドイツ語は研究対象としても研究遂行の道具としても大切な言語だと思う。
