専門分野
中世および初期近代の英文学・ヨーロッパ文学の研究。多言語社会であった中世後期イングランドにおける英語文学の文化的地位、および中世ヨーロッパの政治思想（主に君主論）と文学作品・年代記との関係を考察することが現在のおもなテーマ。
